DESCRIPTION
Does your C band dish linear actuator freeze and not move in the winter? Does your actuator become sluggish and move very slowly when the temperatur falls below freezing?
If you answered yes to the above, then you need our actuator heating de-icing kit that will keep your big dish moving all winter long!
This product wraps around the tube of your actuator and is insulated with a two plastic outer tubes. This will keep the grease inside your actuator warm and soft and allow it to operate normally even under extreme low temperatures. Your positioner will also work better because it depends on clean pulses coming from the reed sensor and this only happens when the actuator can move quickly (frozen actuators that move slowly produce smaller pulses).
NOTE: This product is highly recommended for cold climates. You must power the heater with a buried A/C power line or outdoor extension cable.
