Some 8ft Solid Dishes are Available

There were a few of those over sized 8 foot solid dishes at the back of the warehouse. I noticed them last week as we moved some other inventory. They are exactly the same as the ones we were selling since 2017 and are the most recent model, except they come with a black King post instead of the gray one. I can substitute the King post for a buried post or pyramid base if requested. All of the posts are gloss black. If anyone is interested, you can purchase here:

Once these are gone there are no more due to the pandemic and supply chain disruptions, not to mention the weaker economy. 

We sold several hundred of these over the years to backyard enthusiasts and feed back was generally very good. This dish is small enough that you won’t get hassled by your neighbours, but large enough to lock almost every transponder over North America.

Hooray! We made it through another year. We would like to thank all our customers who purchased their BIG DISH equipment from us in 2019. We look forward to seeing you back in our store in 2020.

We will be closed for the holiday season between Dec. 20th – Jan. 06. Our online store will continue to accept orders during this period. All holiday orders will be shipped from our warehouse on Monday Jan. 06, 2020 and we will be back in the new year with more great TVRO products!

Arrival of Commercial Grade Mesh Antennas

Our warehouse has received several containers of both consumer and commercial grade 10′, 12′, 13.5′ and 15′ Mesh Antennas. The consumer models are available in polar mount only, whereas the commercial models come in polar mount, fixed mount and Az-El mount (special order). The commercial models use more steel and aluminum and are primarily targeted at TV stations and others looking for heavy-duty antennas.

We are currently filling back orders. Orders will ship out chronologically. This will take about 2 weeks and after that new orders will ship out almost daily.

The lighter consumer antennas ship by economical UPS ground freight while the larger and heavier commercial antennas go by LTL truck freight which takes a bit longer. We also ship worldwide by sea freight. We can deliver these antennas to most international countries within 20 business days and at excellent rates.

Arrival of 2018 Mesh Dish Models

 

I’ve been informed this morning that several containers full of mesh antennas have arrived in the port of Vancouver. They have been grounded and will be trucked to our warehouse in Ontario within 2 weeks. After that, all backorders will start shipping out. These are the latest designs (2018 models) and include 12′, 10′, 8′ and 6′ dish sizes and np roof mounts, pole adapters and tall poles. I will start emailing tracking numbers to everyone next week if you ordered these products, but keep in mind they will only track once they are actually dispatched from our warehouse.

We are still taking pre-orders on these antennas for a few more days. We sold more antennas than anticipated this winter (mostly to Florida and the Caribbean) and anticipate strong spring sales too. I ordered 25% more mesh dish stock for this year, but I can’t guarantee they will last to the end of the year. If they don’t last, hopefully I will have solid antennas in stock later in the year. But if your preference is mesh, then March/April/May is an excellent time of year to install these!
